I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) practicum student from the University of Toronto. With over 17 years of experience working in Ontario’s public health system, supporting individuals and families as they navigate health and social service systems. My professional and volunteer experience, including many years in victim services, has shaped my deep understanding of how housing insecurity intersects with safety, health, and well-being, particularly for women, girls, and gender-diverse people.
I am personally motivated by a commitment to dignity, equity, and systems change, and by a belief that safe and stable housing is foundational to individual and community well-being. I am very much looking forward to learning from and contributing to the Women’s National Housing & Homelessness Network, and to supporting collaborative efforts that advance housing justice across Canada.
When I’m not working or studying, you can usually find me exploring local cafés, going for a walk with my dog, or trying out new recipes on my kids (with mixed reviews!).
