Hello, I’m Hayley! I’m a second-year Master of Social Work student at The University of Toronto. I have experience in accessibility, disability, and neurodiversity, and I’m excited to bring this perspective into my practicum at the Women’s National Housing and Homelessness Network.
I believe my background in understanding diverse needs and creating inclusive, supportive environments will be valuable in addressing the unique challenges faced by women experiencing housing insecurity. While this is a new population and area of practice for me, I’m eager to learn from the expertise within the network, deepen my understanding of systemic barriers and how services can best meet people’s needs, and contribute meaningfully to projects and initiatives that help women access safe, stable, and supportive housing.
